Connecting Europe Days 2022, Europe’s mobility flagship event, will take place from 28-30 June 2022 in Lyon, France. Connecting Europe Days – formerly known as TEN-T Days – will bring together politicians, industry representatives and the European Commission to discuss transport and mobility, and their role in achieving the ambitious goals set out in the European Green Deal and the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy.

Participants will see state-of-the art innovations first-hand at an exhibition of EU-funded projects, demonstrations of alternative mobility vehicles and automated transport.

And as 2022 is the European Year of Youth, the Connecting Europe Days will have a specific focus on young voices and views. The event is being organised by the European Commission together with the French Presidency of the Council of the EU.

2022 is a crucial year for the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T). Last year the Commission proposed to revise the EU’s TEN-T Regulation, introducing new European Transport Corridors and improving city-to-city, citizen and business connections. The proposal will be discussed this year at the political level, together with other proposals from the Fit for 55 and Efficient and Green Mobility packages.

This is an opportunity to feed into the political discussions. The consequences of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine will feature on the agenda: the immediate impacts on transport, but also long-term goals such as strengthening ties with neighboring countries.

The programme is available here, and for more information, see here. Registration is open, please follow this link.
